Speaking of men in powerful positions who just can't seem to be faithful husbands, we should talk about the 2012 candidate for the Republican nomination, Newt Gingrich. In 1996 Gingrich was a very visible political personality. I was 18 at the time and I had started to pay closer attention to what was going on in the adult world. Gingrich was the Speaker of the House at an economic time, not unlike the one we find ourselves in today.
