FACE IT: YOU WOULDN'T INVEST IN JOBS EITHER!

Posted by NealR Politics The Independent Perspective ron paul presidential candidates politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal
Opportunistic politicians, rabble-rousers, and protesters keep expressing tremendous anger that banks and companies are “sitting on” over a trillion dollars rather than investing it in small businesses. But all these people are angry at the wrong entity, for under the rules the republicans and democrats have set up you wouldn’t invest in jobs either!

WE MUST SAVE THE ENDANGERED SPOTTED OWS

As big government forces in league with Obama attempt to take over (and thereby destroy) the original Occupy Wall Street movement, equally dark forces associated with the likes of Romney, Perry, and Cain attempt to destroy it through the use of force (police) and ridicule.  And the complicit mass media assists all of them by constantly misrepresenting what the movement stands for.

BILL GATES: DARLING OF SYCOPHANTS AND IGNORAMUSES

Posted by NealR Opinion The Independent Perspective Steve Jobs politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal Bill Gates
I suppose it was inevitable that once the shining armor of famous politicians such as Obama started to tarnish the media would start fawning over the likes of Warren Buffet and (Starbucks CEO) Howard Schultz, and increase their long-standing efforts to deify Bill Gates.  For while the media may have once been filled with noble souls devoted to investigative journalism and exposing corruption in the establishment, these days most are merely sycophants and ignoramuses devoted to worshipping the rich and famous.

REPUBLICANS SET, OBAMA SPIKES… AMERICANS LOSE!

Posted by NealR Politics The Independent Perspective republican candidates politics Opinion Obama Nuzcom Neal
While most reporter-pundits treated Wednesday’s republican debate and Thursday’s presidential speech as separate events involving opposing teams, I couldn’t help thinking of them as a bi-partisan one-two punch designed to deliver a knock-out blow to the mind of the average American on the other side of prosperity net.

THE KEY TO HAPPINESS: ENJOYING NATURE WHILE SIMULTANEOULSLY TRANSCENDING IT

Posted by NealR Happy Hour The Independent Perspective Nuzcom Neal happy hour
It’s early Tuesday evening as I write this and I am extremely happy at the moment.  Which is an unusual state for me, so I thought I’d write down what’s happened the last two hours in order to help myself (and perhaps others) understand what makes me happy and why, in general, happiness seems so elusive for me and so many other people.

PROFOUND INSIGHT REVEALED! THE REAL REASON MOVIE STARS MAKE SO MUCH MONEY

Posted by NealR Opinion The Independent Perspective politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal Movies movie stars economics celebrities
Ask a hundred people why movie stars get paid so much and probably not one will even come close to the correct answer.   But once a person thoroughly understands the reason (for over sixty years it has been illegal for movie studios to own movie theaters), he or she has gone a long way to understanding economics better than most so-called experts.  And, even more important, to understanding how politicians – and those who “have faith” in them – are responsible for why our country is currently

WHY THE MASS MEDIA IS SNUBBING RON PAUL

Posted by NealR Politics The Independent Perspective ron paul republicans politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal
I sat down to watch the CBS Evening News, shivering with anticipation.  (No, the rain was not to blame.)  For it was August 13th, and I had heard that Ron Paul had come in a very close second in the Iowa straw poll – less than one percent behind native Iowan Michele Bachmann.  At last, I thought, the mass media would no longer be able to ignore Ron Paul – and people would finally have a true alternative to the establishment candidates in the next presidential election!

HOW TO QUICKLY CREATE MILLIONS OF JOBS

Posted by NealR Politics The Independent Perspective politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal election 2012 economy Economic
The quickest way to create millions of jobs is NOT (despite what we keep being told) for the government to spend more money on massive jobs programs – but for the government to simply stop taxing the income of employees.  (And, ideally, reduce the taxes on small businesses.)

DEBT CRISIS SOLUTION: END THE (ECONOMIC) DRAFT!

Posted by NealR Politics The Independent Perspective politics Opinion Nuzcom Neal debt crisis debt ceiling
As democrats and republicans proudly prepare to raise the debt limit another two trillion dollars, the only talk regarding how to (someday) solve the underlying tremendous debt crisis involves cutting domestic spending – cuts that in many cases will hurt Americans who earned those benefits from a lifetime of working and being forced to pay into the government system (whether they wanted to or not).
